Quote Paraph: "1082. That which proceeds from the Fourth Cause (1075. N°. 4.) ought to be treated differently, according to the different Nature of its proximate Cause : Hence do all Anodynes, Paregorics, Narcotics, Antihysterics, Antihelmintics (that is, Medicines against the Worms) ; such as soften and correct Acrimonies, a seasonable cutting of the Gums; The ablation, and correction of a present ulcerous Matter; all these, I say, become by their operation Antepileptics."
