Epidermal cells subrectangular, anticlinal walls sinous, rounded or oblate anomocytic stomata occasionally found. Spiral vessels 5-26µm in diameter.Lubei: Starch granules broadly ovoid, conchoidal, reniform or elipsiodal up to 60µm in diameter, hilum, V shaped, stellate or pointed, striation distinct, spiral and reticulate vessels even up to 64µm in diameter.

Processing  :

Action  : To remove heat, moisten the lung, resolve phlegm and relieve cough.

Indication  :

Precautions  : Incompatible with Radix Aconiti and allied drugs.
